From The Inventor
I am Caryn Pincus, an Attorney at Law, licensed to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey and Florida. I graduated cum laude, in 2006. I received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Contracts II and Disability Law. I also interned at the New York Appellate Division, First Department, the Suffolk County Attorney's Office and Nassau-Suffolk Law Services. I started my career at a matrimonial and criminal law firm and subsequently worked as a commercial litigation attorney.
In 2008, I passed the Florida bar exam and was once again reminded that studying for the bar is a tedious and arduous task. That is why I decided to create the board game Passing the Bar. The game, which was tested and reviewed by a board of practicing attorneys, is comprised of flashcards that reinforce material students need to know for the Bar examination.
Along with being a great bar prep supplement, the game is also meant to help law students through their core first and second year law school classes, and is also fun for practicing lawyers to play outside of the courtroom and traditional legal practice.
I hope that you enjoy playing the game.
Thank you to the following people who helped me excel in law school and create this game: Dean Barbara Mehrman, Lisa Larson, Elizabeth Murphy, and Laura Mintz.
